Cater 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders were entertained by KWTX Channel 10 Weatherman, Rusty Garrett, this afternoon. Mr. Garrett informed the students about Project Tornado. The interactive presentation taught the students about thunderstorms and tornadoes, along with what to do in each situation.
The students were very engaged and learned a lot from the presentation.
At the end of the presentation, Mr. Lopez and Mrs. Conner presented Mr. Garrett with a Cater Cougar t-shirt, thereby making him an official Cater Cougar.
Mr. Garrett informed the students that he would be mentioning them on the news tonight at 6 PM.
